Wormwood is an odd place. Weird things happen.  Fingers drop off and grow back and music turns you to stone; even your own mirror image can come to life.   Wormwood is a comic fantasy, a modern Grimm’s fairy tale in which siblings Danni and Ned Bourke find  a “See” Shell that shows them strange visions of the future.  Although the meanings of these visions are not always clear, the kids are on a mission to make sense of their strange new home, where giant earthworms are the mainstay of the economy and the forest pond is home to a monster with indigestion!
