CCI and Rainmaker pair up to bring a slate of classic and beloved characters to the international market
CCI Entertainment is pleased to announce an agreement with prominent Canadian producer, Rainmaker Entertainment for eight CGI animated 3D family titles to distribute internationally. These include storylines with popular characters including Inspector Gadget, Popeye and Arthur, just to name a few. The catalogue will be represented by CCI at the MIPCOM market in Cannes, France in October.
By refreshing and replenishing its movie catalogue with Rainmaker’s compelling characters and timeless stories, CCI is responding to international clients who voice a strong demand for animated films and series.
“We are excited to be taking these properties to MIPCOM and to have the pleasure of working with such a respected and talented Canadian producer. Rainmaker has an excellent reputation for making high-caliber product and the distinction is evident in each one of the properties,” said Jill Keenleyside, CCI Executive VP of Distribution. “International broadcasters are expressing the need for high quality animated content and that is what we will deliver at MIP.”

Scary godmother: Spooktacular
Meet Scary Godmother! She is here to show Hannah that Halloween isn’t scary after her mean cousin plays a trick on her.
Shadow Raiders
Graveheart, a minor from planet Rock, must overcome extreme odds, and build an alliance amongst his warring worlds, in order to save them all from a world-consuming Beast planet.
Arthur’s Missing Pal
With the help of his best friend, Buster Baxter, Arthur embarks on an adventure to find his beloved dog, Pal. The clues lead them through a harrowing series of twists and turns that cause Arthur to realize he may not have been the best owner lately and ultimately question the unthinkable: could Pal have run away?
