Arnie Zipursky, President, CEO and Co-Chairman of CCI Entertainment! He was founder of Cambium Entertainment in 1982, which has since merged with Catalyst Entertainment in 2002 to form Cambium Catalyst International Entertainment (CCI). Arnie is a leading entrepreneur in both the Canadian and international independent television production industry. He is highly regarded for his creative vision and leadership.
Arnie Zipursky has created, developed, produced and executive produced a variety of television series, specials and movies that have received high acclaim around the world. Such franchise series’ as Sharon, Lois and Bram’s The Elephant Show, Eric’s World, Monster By Mistake and Nilus the Sandman, are part of a heritage of creative excellence and commercial success.
Today, Zipursky is leading CCI into a new and exciting phase of growth: Mobilizing a prolific team of creative partners in Canada and around the world, as well as working closely with prominent broadcasters and commercial partners. Arnie’s creative integrity has become a vital building block of the company as it develops a large slate of entertainment series that are successful on television, as well as other platforms such as live events, publishing and merchandising.
He has recently executively produced the successful children’s properties Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs (Teletoon Treehouse Canada, Super RTL Germany, Five UK France 5, Spain TVE, Discovery Latin America), Erky Perky (YTV Canada and 7 Network Australia), Turbo Dogs (CBC, qubo-NBC) and the Gemini Award winning Ghost Trackers (YTV, NRK, HBO Family and NICK Germany), as well as Iron Road (CBC), a four-hour mini series. Zipursky is currently executive producing the CBC-Nickelodeon Co-Production Artzooka - a dynamic art series for kids ages 6 to 10.
