CHARLES FALZON
Co-Chairman - CCI ENTERTAINMENT LTD
Charles Falzon is Co-Chairman of CCI Entertainment. He founded Catalyst
Entertainment in 1989, which has since merged with Cambium Entertainment forming
Cambium Catalyst Entertainment (CCI) in 2002. Charles has had a distinguished
career in the entertainment industry and brings to CCI global experience in brand
direction and commercial strategy.
An industry veteran in his home country of Canada, Falzon has managed operations
in the UK, US, Japan Latin America and Malta. His professional experience covers
a wide range of management activity, including the production of award winning
television series and movies, distribution, marketing, publishing, as well as
live events, and brand development.
Falzon was President of Gullane Entertainment Plc, a UK based multinational
public company. Among its large portfolio, the company boasted well-known
properties such as Thomas and Friends, Guinness World Records and Art
Attack. Falzon managed all areas of the commercial activity, with
annual turnover of more than 200 million dollars. Under his helm, the company
nearly tripled in sales, delivering over 1000 hours of new television programs,
publishing over 200 book titles, and releasing 100 videos. In addition Gullane
Entertainment Plc presented more than two hundred live events in the US, UK and
around the world and launched a hugely successful theme park in Japan. In
2002 the company was acquired by HIT Entertainment at a substantial premium.
Arnie Zipurksy and Charles Falzon have had a close and productive business
alliance for over twenty years.
