IRON ROAD SCORES 7 LEO NOMINATIONS EPIC LOVE STORY SELECTED AS BEST OF WESTERN CANADA CCI Entertainment, in association with Massey Productions, Anne Tait Productions, and Cheerland Entertainment are thrilled to announce that Iron Road, a sweeping story of forbidden love and adventure set against the building of the transcontinental railroad, has been honoured with an outstanding seven Leo Award nominations. The Leo Awards recognize the best in Western Canada’s Film and Television Industry, and will be handed out on Saturday, May 9th in Vancouver. Iron Road has been nominated for: Best Program (Raymond Massey, Arnie Zipursky, Anne Tait (Producers)), Best Direction (David Wu), Best Cinematography (Attila Szalay), Best Picture Editing (David Wu), Best Production Design (Linda Del Rosario), Best Costume Design (Maya Mani) and Best Makeup (Joanne Kinchella). “The quality of our 2009 nominees proves that BC’s film and television industry continues to excel,” says Leo Awards president Walter Daroshin.
