TORONTO (September 3, 2009) CCI Entertainment and Ambience Entertainment are pleased to announce the completion of season three of their successful children’s cgi animated sitcom, Erky Perky.
Based on the series’ top performance on YTV Canada and 7 Network and the ABC in Australia along with strong sales internationally an additional 26 episodes have been produced making Erky Perky a priority for CCI at MIPCOM this September.

Erky Perky is a comedy series based around two bug buddies, Erky and Perky. They’re hungry little insects and crumb connoisseurs. The trouble is they’re trapped in a clean Kitchen with no food in sight and they have to outwit their nemesis Mad Margaret in order to avoid starvation...but she can fly!

Erky and Perky might be great friends but their combination never seems to be in sync. They’re more Abbott and Costello than Torvill and Dean. Erky hatches harebrained schemes and Perky is the crash test dummy carrying them out. Invariably their bold plans fail more often than not and they’re left red faced in front of all the other bugs in Kitchen…and still HUNGRY!

The Canadian-Australian co-production aimed at 7 - 11 year olds, follows the ridiculous adventures of Erky and Perky in their eccentric indoor eco-system which includes their nemesis, flying bug Mad Margaret, her "wing-man" Cecil, her beguiling niece Sajuica, the ultimate "veteran" bug Frenzel, old timer Moldy Van Oldy and Stinks, a scientifically-minded fart propelled bug.

CCI’s Co-Chairman Arnie Zipursky states, “We are thrilled to be able to offer a third season to our Erky Perky fans! These episodes have all the adventure and humour of the first two series and added more comedic zing and wild story premises. We know its going to be successful to both our committed broadcasters as well as our new broadcast partners that come on board for all 78 eps".

Creative Director David Webster added, “We will be launching a brilliant new website including a game to co-incide with our on-air date in Australia, which will allow the kids to totally interact with the world of Erky Perky”
