CCI ENTERTAINMENT EMBARKS ON A SEVEN PICTURE FAMILY MOVIE DEAL WITH COMPLETION OF PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY ON IRON ROAD

Seven Picture Deal Includes Activity On Initial Offerings
Connor Rourke Chronicles And No Mountain Too High

CCI Entertainment has committed to a seven picture production slate spanning the globe from Australia to China beginning with the family movie Iron Road

Iron Road is a landmark event as the first official feature film treaty co-production between Canada and China for 25 years. The A-list cast including Peter O’Toole and Sam Neill is filmed in dramatic locations from China to the Rocky Mountains. This film is a moving story of forbidden love set in the late 1800’s against the harsh, historic backdrop of the building of the North American transcontinental railroad.

With a ‘cast iron’ co-production framework in place made up of CCI Entertainment, Alchemy Television, Anne Tait Productions, Massey Productions and China Film House, Iron Road is scheduled for release in early 2009. Iron Road is a Canada - China co-production, produced by Mainland Productions and Iron Road Productions in association with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and with the financial participation of the COGECO Program Development Fund, the Shaw Rocket Fund and the Canadian Television Fund created by the Government of Canada and the Canadian Cable Industry

Next on the slate are The Connor Rourke Chronicles, a series of family adventure movies co-produced between CCI and Nearly Normal Productions. Production on two movies is slated for late fall 2008 in Buenos Aires and scheduled for delivery in spring 2009. The Myth of Gaia and The Spear of Destiny follow Connor and her father Diego on adventures surrounding precious metals and an ancient spear with mystical powers.

CCI has also just received a commissioned script for No Mountain Too High based on the book of the same name which was written by Ned Levitt with a screenplay by Dennis Foon. The movie is set in Mexico and Canada.
