CCI SEES STARS WITH ALICE UPSIDE DOWN

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL
AND CAMP ROCK STARS
 FEATURED IN CCI’S FAMILY FILM ACQUISITION


CCI Releasing is thrilled to announce that the comedy Alice Upside Down has been added to its expanding movie releases. The tween comedy starsAlyson Stoner (Camp Rock, Cheaper by The Dozen, Suite Life of Zack and Cody) as the heroine Alice McKinley, Lucas Grabeel (High School Musical) as Alice’s older brother Lester, Luke Perry (Beverly Hills 90210) as the single dad in charge of the McKinley clan, and Penny Marshall (Laverne and Shirley) playing the inspiring Mrs. Plotkin, Alice’s new teacher.CCI has obtained the International Rights, with Starz Entertainment covering the United States.

s. With her whole life turned upside down, Alice often escapes into a vivid fantasy world that occasionally gets her into hot water! The movie is based on the internationally popular Alice novels by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, a Newbery Medal winner.Alice Upside Down was produced by the Alice Partnership organized by Open Pictures and Avondale Productions to produce quality family programming. It was produced by James Gould, Dale Rosenbloom and Carl Borack.

Alice Upside Down has been featured in many film festivals including winning Best Comedy at the Los Angeles Film Festival, the Audience Award at the California Independent Film Festival, and the Audience Award at the prestigious International Film Festival for Children and Young People in Chemnitz, Germany.
