ALICE UPSIDE DOWN CONTINUES TO SPIN

CCI EXPERIENCES CONTINUED INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS WITH TWEEN COMEDY

CCI Releasing is pleased to report a new raft of international broadcast partners for Alice Upside Down. The family film has just been sold to Televisa in Mexico, Super Ecran in Canada, as well as Disney Germany, France, Italy and Japan, plus Canal+ Poland, TV1 Portugal and Alphavill in Spain, Portugal and Brazil. More Brands in Germany has just been granted home entertainment rights.

Alice just wants to fit in. Moving to a new town with her Dad and brother means a new school, new kids and new anxieties. The movie is based on the internationally popular Alice novels by Phyllis Reyonds Naylor, a Newbery Medal winner.Alice Upside Down stars Alyson Stoner (Camp Rock, Cheaper by The Dozen, Suite Life of Zack and Cody) as the heroine Alice McKinley, Lucas Grabeel (High School Musical, Milk) as Alice’s older brother Lester, Luke Perry (Beverly Hills 90210) as the single dad in charge of the McKinley clan, and Penny Marshall (Laverne and Shirley). Alice Upside Down was produced by the Alice Partnership organized by Open Pictures and Avondale Productions to create quality family programming. It was produced by James Gould, Dale Rosenbloom and Carl Borack.
