CCI TAKES METEOR TO NEW HEIGHTS CCI Releasing announces a broadcast partner and key broadcasters for preschool series Meteor. TORONTO (September 21, 2006) CCI Entertainment is delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached for the rough and tumble animated pre-school series Bigfoot Presents: Meteor and the Mighty Monster Trucks to air on Cartoon Network Too (Sky 622) in the UK, and Boomerang in Latin America, and Cartoon Network in Australia and New Zealand. Cartoon Network Too in the UK will begin airing the series as part of its new preschool block, Cartoonito. The series will launch in November and will be followed by Australia and New Zealand which will begin airing early 2007. Agreements have also been reached to broadcast the series in Taiwan, South Korea, Benelux, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Middle East with launch dates still being determined. Bigfoot Presents: Meteor and The Mighty Monster Trucks will also be airing on Discovery Kids US beginning weekdays September 25 at 10:30 AM ET/PT as part of the “Ready, Set, Learn!” preschool block. The show will also air weekdays on TLC starting October 2nd at 8 AM ET/PT. Bigfoot Presents: Meteor and the Mighty Monster Trucks is a 3D animated series whose characters play like real kids play. Young kids will see themselves in these high revving, pre-school monster trucks as they crash, smash and crush their way through growing up in Crushington Park. Big Foot Presents: Meteor and the Mighty Monster Trucks was created by producers David Snyder and Bill Gross, and is being co-developed and produced with Endgame Entertainment, an equity production fund involved in film, TV and stage productions and by RC2 Corporation, which holds a minority ownership interest in the LLC. Cartoon Network Too was launched in the UK on Sky channel 622 by Turner Broadcasting System Europe in April 2006. The channel airs a variety of modern classics from the Hanna Barbera library, alongside popular Cartoon Network Original properties. Additionally a preschool block called Cartoonito was launched on Cartoon Network Too in September 2006, with top preschool programmes airing daily from 6am until 3pm. Exclusive to the block is the make-believe world of the Cartoonitos, six animated characters who introduce the shows both in English and French.
