Backed By New Master Toy, Publishing & Home Entertainment Partners,
Harry and His Prehistoric Pals Embark On New Adventures At Retail In 2006
Preschool is about to get prehistoric after one adorable little boy, his boundless imagination and pack of dinosaur pals find their way into the hearts and minds of children everywhere. Starting in August, CCI Entertainment and
Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the exclusive U.S. licensor for the Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs property, will launch a robust Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs merchandising program in support of the property’s second season debut on Cartoon Network. The merchandising program will kick off with an extensive Fisher Price toy line at Target stores nationwide that will lead into the property’s first DVD release and an extended publishing program in the fall.
Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs debuted in August 2005 on Cartoon Network and has steadily performed as one of the network’s highest rated preschool programs. The series takes children on a fantastic ride with a young boy, Harry, and his six dinosaur friends, Taury, Trike, Pterence, Patsy, Sid and Steggy, teaching children the power of the imagination and importance of friendship.
“Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs is a unique voice in the cluttered preschool marketplace,” said Arnie Zipursky Co-Chairman and CEO, CCI Entertainment. “As the only property incorporating authentic dinosaurs, the series stands out for both its target audience and original look.”
Zipursky added, “Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs lends itself to a fun and imaginative licensing program, and we are delighted to have aligned the property with some of the best companies in their respective industries. This fall will be a very exciting time as product begins to hit shelves in the U.S.”
Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs is a Canada/UK official treaty co- production between CCI Entertainment of Canada and Collingwood O'Hare Entertainment/Silver Fox Films of the UK. Broadcast partners include Cartoon Network US, Treehouse Canada, Disney UK, Five Network UK and Discovery Latin America.

Beginning in August, kids everywhere will be able to head to “Dino World” with their favorite friend and his loveable dinosaur pals through an extensive range of colorfully charming toys, games and accessories. The Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs toy line will include plush, accessories, playsets, talking toys, figures, vehicles and more. The line will be both engaging and educational for preschoolers playfully representing the various personalities of the characters on the show.
The new toy line will be supported by an extensive marketing and advertising campaign starting with a two-week ad buy on Cartoon Network in August and a one-page ad in the September issue of Parenting Magazine. An innovative in-school program will target more than 15,000 US schools in October distributing Harry-branded materials to preschoolers across the country. At retail, the line will receive an additional boost in all 1,313 Target stores with eye-catching end-cap and in-line presentations. Other point-of-sale inducements will include on-pack DVD samples for all Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs talking figures, which will feature an episode of the series.
