FRANKENSTEIN’S CAT SOLD TO CBBC AND ABC AUSTRALIA
CCI Entertainment is delighted to announce that Frankenstein’s Cat, produced by the well-known Manchester-based puppetmasters Mackinnon & Saunders has been acquired by CBBC and ABC Australia.

Frankenstein’s Cat, an anarchic comedy for 6-11 year olds, is a 2D digital series which will be co-produced with Paris based Kayenta Production and licensed and distributed by Toronto’s CCI Entertainment. The 30x11 minute show is based on the acclaimed book by Curtis Jobling, this wonderfully gross comedy series features the exploits of the frantic feline and his friend as they outwit, outrun and generally outdo the citizens of Oddsburg.

What most people don’t know is that Dr. Frankenstein’s first creation was a cat called Nine (not because he had nine lives but because he was made out of nine different cats). Nine has trouble fitting in with life - he’s hyperactive, stinky and has a tendency to fall apart! His sole friend, and partner-in-mischief, is Lottie, the only girl in town.
