Erky Perky Swarms Into Season Two

Top – rated Canada / Australia co-production greenlit for another 26 episodes.

Based on the incredible success on YTV Canada, and commitment from three of Australia’s top broadcasters, CCI Entertainment and Ambience Entertainment are pleased to announce the greenlighting of a new season of the successful series Erky Perky. Top rated on Canada’s YTV Erky Perky is an animated series, in which two bickering bugs are forced to survive in a scary world known only as the Land of Kitchen where Erky and Perky discover a new family of dysfunctional insect friends.

Production of the second season of 26 episodes will begin immediately.

The Canadian-Australian co-production aimed at 7-11 year olds, introduces us to an eccentric indoor eco-system that includes bossy flying bug Mad Margaret, her "wing-man" Cecil, her beguiling niece Sajuica, the ultimate "veteran" bug Frenzel (who's survived everything from bug sprays to roach motels), oldtimer Moldy Van Oldy and Stinks, a scientifically-minded fart propelled bug.

“With the series having just debuted, we are thrilled to hear of the immediate success on YTV as a top rated show for their core audience. It’s wonderful to get a pick up so quickly as there are so many more hilarious adventure stories of ERKY and PERKY to tell” says Zipursky.

The team in Australia is equally as excited about the recent developments. Matthew Street, Managing Director of Ambience Entertainment, part of the Omnilab Media Group states, “The Team at Ambience Entertainment and Omnilab Media Group are excited that series two of Erky Perky is now in production. We all look forward to working with CCI in continuing to deliver a world class fun series for kids for many years to come.”
